My first day of leave was spent taking Roo to the doctor. We didn't see our usual doctor (Sean's uncle) because he's on medical leave, so we saw one of his partners. It was a whirl-wind visit because they're so backed up, but I was able to get Roo's prescription for her abdominal series. The doctor had no idea what I was asking for because there was so much information in her chart, so he basically asked me what to write on the prescription, LOL!

Roo's doing great! She's 19.5 lbs, putting her in the 75%, and she's in the 110% for height! Eyes, ears, nose all look great, and she's hitting her milestones perfectly. She only had to get one shot too, so that was a releif!

I was able to schedule her ultrasound for August 4th at 7:30am, which is great since she can't eat beforehand. I just have to get her blood work done, and then she'll be set for a while (provided the US comes back clear). There is some confusion as to whether or not she's going to need another CT scan, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

It's funny how easily I slipped back into the SAHM roll. Today we took Ian to school, went to see Sean at work to get something I had to pick up, got Roo's hair cut, went to the doctor, then the bank, then to lunch with my mom, home after that for an hour, then back to pick up Ian and then make dinner. It was wonderful!
