Sean painted the house today while I went to buy new earphones and to hit Whole Foods. I got home around 2pm, hung out playing games with the kids, and then Sean came in around 4ish and we had dinner, then put the kids to bed.

I watched Twilight again while making a necklace for my niece. She's receiving her first Holy Communion tomorrow so I made her a pink pearl necklace with a charm of praying hands. I hope she likes it!

Friday was a good day. We played games, hung out outside, and read books. I could get used to this 'unplugged' thing!

Day 3 and all is well. It was easier today because we had a birthday party for my nephew at Pump It Up. We had to leave here at 3:30pm so that didn't leave much 'idle time'.

The party was a lot of fun, and I even got to play on the equipment with the kids. They loved it, and I got in some great exercise.

This morning went off without a hitch. There were no tears, and Ian actually slept until 7am. There was no rushing, and both kids (and Mommy!) left the house with no stress.

When we got home, Ian and I played "I Spy" for a while, then we went on a walk. After that Ian went outside and played on his scooter while Roo and I hung out and played on her mat. Ian helped me give Roo a bath and helped me feed her dinner, and then he took a shower. Following was a game of Trouble, then it was off to bed for Ian. I got to study and Sean worked in the trailer, so it was a good night.

So, day 1 was interesting. The morning was a bit rough because Ian is used to watching his "show" while getting dressed. There were a few tears, but nothing out of control.

By the night we were swinging! Ian went to his Karate class with my Mom while I took a nap. When they got back Ian got in the shower, then he played with Roo for a long time. He helped me feed her, then helped me give her a bath. Daddy was home by that time, so he and Ian played Hungry Hungry Hippos while Roo and I watched, then she went to bed and we played Trouble. Ian went to bed after that and Sean and I talked and read.

It was a success!
