It rained today and it was awesome!

I had a busy and full day at work, and then I went to pick the kids up. Ian was with my MIL and Roo was, of course, with my Mom. When I picked Roo up my Mom and Dad ended up taking us to a late lunch It was really nice to spend some time with them.

After that I came home, took a nap with both kids while it rained, and then I got up and made dinner. Sean and I have been hanging out since then. It's been a really nice day.

I'm gearing up for my trip. I leave Sunday night (yes, it's Easter I realize) and won't be back until late Wednesday. I'm trying to arrange a way to get Ian to Karate that week because I'd hate for him to miss it 2 weeks in a row. Other than that, it should be smooth sailing. I'll have Thrusday and Friday off, although Friday I'm scheduled for my surgery so it won't be a 'real' day off!
