What a fantastic day. The weather was beautiful!

Sean and I had breakfast alone today which allowed us some much-needed talk time. I was finally able to get over myself and ask for help with some things, and he told me that the reason he hadn't been offering his help was because of my usual get-away-from-me-I-can-do-it-myself behavior. I felt much better after that discussion because now he knows that I don't feel like I can do it all on my own, and I know that he's willing to help in any way he can.

After that we went shopping for a birthday present for one of Ian's friends whose party is tomorrow, and then Sean left to go racing. I took a nice, long nap with the kids, then we went over to my parents' house to walk around the neighborhood and enjoy the weather. From there we went grocery shopping, and now I'm studying while Roo sleeps and Ian plays Hungry, Hungry Hippos by himself.

It was a great day. I hope tomorrow is just as good!
