Thanksgiving was great this year! Usually we go to my in-law's house where I'm either left chasing after kids because everyone else is "busy" cooking or whatever or I'm in the living room alone, and I am usually exhausted about 2 hours before we actually leave, but this year we went to my brother's house. The kids played together so nicely, and it was so relaxed! I even got to watch a whole football game while snacking on spinach/artichoke dip, cheese, pepperoni, pickle dip and such, and then we relaxed a bit before having a buffet-style meal which included fried turkey, ham, spinach souffle, squash, sweet potato casserole topped with oatmeal, brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes... It was awesome. We got home around 5:30pm, Roo was in bed by 6pm, and Ian at 7pm. So, Sean and I get to hang out and watch TV togther in silence.

The only problem was my sickness! I couldn't breathe so I could hardly taste anything, and the majority of my meal I put in Tupperware to eat when I can finally smell/taste something. I guess that's an upside, right? Not eating thousands of useless/unnecessary calories?
