I am so happy I watched the debate last night: it only increased my desire to vote Republican.
It's funny how people's views can change so drastically in such a short amount of time. Granted, the topics were focused on the war and on Russia, but I got an idea of how wishy-washy Obama is. I vaguely remember him stating that he was against the war and wanted to pull our troops out ASAP, but as of last night that view is altered quite a bit!
I am also impressed by McCain's voting record (something Obama doesn't have since he can't seem to find his way into session!), as well as his experience through the years. In a time when our Country is in such a precarious state, I am hoping that someone with strong political ties and knowledge of political endeavors is put in to office.
I'm terrified of what will be if someone with little experience is standing as our Commander and Chief...

I concur; I especially like the part when McCain says " you can't say OUT LOUD that you plan to bomb Pakistan!" and "Obama obviously does not know the difference between a tactic and a strategy". I also thought it was particularly rude and disrespectful on Obama's part to not only address SENATOR McCain by his first name, but to call him by the wrong first name 3 different times! Very scary!

I could not have said this better....
Re: What Debate?
At the party we were at Sat. night, the subject turned to politics. There were 10 of us out on the porch talking about the candidates. Out of the 10 two were undecided (who were Republicans and the only reason they won't vote Obama is the socialized medicine issue, but they're still undecided), 1 voting McCain and 7 voting Obama.

It's funny to me that people have the perception that Obama won the debate. How could he have? He didn't have any constructive responses to add and clearly showed his own inexperience. I'm truly frightened for the next four years if our nation comes out to vote for him in November.
