I just finished creating letterhead for my Mom. I love doing this stuff!

I think, rather than trying to tackle the house all at once, I'm going to have to make a list of what I want to do and do a project a day. Today I did the kitchen, dining room, and living room floor (OK, half the living room floor), wood- polished the kitchen cabinets, and base boards in the kitchen. There is SO much more I wanted to do, but my energy gave out after hefting myself the housing for my six-inch daughter up and down seventeen times.

1. Get a new faucet for the kitchen (really, limescale is so 80's!)

2. Clean the bathroom shower doors and rails. I don't know how a place that is constantly filled with soap and water can can so dirty, but it does and it's disgusting.

3. Paint the baseboards in the house. To do this I must get rid of my four-year-old for the day so this may be one of the last things tackled.

4. Patch the wall behind the couch. Let's see, I started painting the house in December of 2006 and I asked Sean to patch the wall. It's now June of 2008 so I'm assuming I'd better think about doing it myself.

5. Finish painting living room. Again, I have the same need with this one as I do with #3, so perhaps anything with painting will have to be last.

6. Paint the doors to the closets. Um, again, the four-year-old thing.

7. Wash the outside of all our windows (preferably when it's below 98 degrees)

8. Scrub fridge and freezer. Something very, very bad happened in there a little while ago...

9. Clean all ceiling fans.

10. Get grout cleaned (I did it once myself with baking soda and water. It came out great, was earth-friendly, and chemical free, but I forgot to re-seal it so you can't even tell now. I haven't decided if I want to do it myself again or swallow the $200 and have someone come in and do it for me)

11. Clean out shit-storage room and decide on nursery theme. Let's see, I'm 20 weeks now and had DS at 33 weeks... I don't know why I'm so calm. Probably because this is my second and I'm not above having the child sleep in a dresser drawer?

12. Get rid of videos. I've asked Sean to fix the VCR since March of 2007 but I'm beginning to think he either doesn't know how, or doesn't really care to.

13. Gather stuff for yard sale. Of course, this requires finding a Saturday when Sean is free to help me do said yard sale, so Ian may be ready to graduate high school by that time.

14. Get rid of clothes. Donate to SA or Goodwill.

15. Pull out all of Ian's old baby clothes and wash. See #11.

16. Clean all ceiling fans. (yes, I know this one is in here twice but I wanted my list to be an even 25 items long. Plus, I really want the darn things clean!)

17. Find out what that fuzzy thing is under the bed. It's hidden by a lot of wrappers and books and stuff, so I guess I'm going to have to get on my hands and knees and clean. Ew!

18. Wash all mirrors.

19. Get rid of paperwork around computer desk.

20. Get new screen door. Heck, new front door.

21. Fix tile in bathroom shower that Sean broke with the toilet. (Seriously)

22. Replace vent covers.

23. Vacuum up small dog left by Sable in our computer room.

24. Go through Ian's books and toys. Get stuff together to donate or store.

25. Wash all the walls.

Blah. I'm tired just typing all that out!
