I finished reading a relatively new book by Jen Lancaster called "Bitter is the New Black" and it was hilarious! Not at all what I was expecting when I picked it up from Borders by accident (yes, that can happen), but I was thrilled with it. I actually read it in two days/one night, however; I was asked to leave the bedroom that night for laughing too much (let's face it, who's husband really wants people to hear their wife laughing in the bedroom?).

Part of the reason I liked this book so much was because it's a true story of a high earning VP who ends up losing all of her money due to "downsizing", and her journey toward discovering that Prada (and Coach, and Tiffany diamonds...) aren't all they're cracked up to be. It was interesting to follow along in her personal growth and laugh while doing it!

Since finishing the book I've become an avid reader of her website, Jennsylvania, because it makes me laugh as much as the book did. I hop over there at least once a day and I'm never disappointed.

I went to Borders just now and picked up another one of her books, "Such a Pretty Fat". I can't wait for Ian to go to bed so I can start it!
