I found this picture while cleaning:
His name was Outstanding Ovation. I only leased him for one season (long story involving stifle shots and owners who thought we were being cruel. They stole him back at midnight one night, left him standing in a muddy field for a year, then called asking if our original offer to buy him was still solid), but he was my shining star!

How adorable! Did you watch the Derby this weekend, and hear about the tragedy afterwards? So sad! I love horses! We (the foster home I lived in) had a horse, a retired barrel horse that we got to ride and take care of when I was in high school. Her name was Red, but I called her CC because I found out one afternoon quite by accident that she LOVED Charleston Chews....she was a doll. Quite theraputic. I still feel like in many ways she helped mend my broken heart.
