Today is going to be annoying, I can already feel it. Ian's recital is today. Dress rehearsal is at 9:45am, the show is at 3pm. I love the genius that came up with that plan!

Anyway, I've been fighting with the dance place because I got a bill for $70 when I knew I paid for the recital back in December. I had to pull old statements out and even then they didn't know what I was talking about... It wasn't until I asked for a copy of the Ledger that they 'found' the missing money. They told me to bring a check for the remaining $35 today, and as I'm looking through the paperwork they said they only accept money orders only and no child can perform in the show if their balance isn't paid. Too bad, they're getting a check and an offer to listen to the saved voice mail if they disagree! Add that to the fact that no store in the greater Tampa Bay area has plain black sneakers available, they're going to have to deal with him wearing black sneakers with a red "N" on them. I'll go so far as to cover it with black electrical tape, but that's as good as it's going to get, even if I was told "Under no circumstances is there to be ANYTHING on the child's sneakers!"

Screw that.
