What a day! It was fabulous. I couldn't have asked for better. The weather was fantastic: A sunny 72ish with a light cool wind. The kids had a ball playing in the sandbox and on the playground, and then they made edible necklaces. I also brought a T-ball set that they played with for hours and, even though there were 11 kids total, there were no fights at all. Not one!
It was one of the best days I can remember. I was with all my friends and their families, all of my family (minus my brother and that was sad, but we'll celebrate with him later)... I felt so loved and so blessed that my heart felt as if it was going to burst from happiness.
When the day was done I knew it had been a success for my little man:
