I have a small bakery on the town square in my hometown in rural Tennessee. It’s a lot of work and getting up early in the morning to have goodies ready for the breakfast crowd is tough. But I love seeing everyone enjoy the fruits of my labor and I also get to catch up on all the gossip from my customers. My husband suggested it would be a good idea to get a security system installed, as I have wound up investing a tidy sum of my profits in equipment and supplies. I researched it on home-alarm-systems.com to find a simple system that would meet my needs. I am thinking of expanding to do a light fare at lunchtime also but I know that will just mean that much more work for me. I love that I’ve been able to fulfill my dream of owning this bakery and it is satisfying to see people enjoy my food. I guess I’d better get back to work as I have three birthday cakes due today—the fun never ends!

Some of my coworkers have events coming up, like anniversaries with the company or birthdays, and I'm not sure what to get them. My job isn't like "regular" jobs; I haven't met one person from the company face-to-face. Since it's an online community I know a bit about their personalities, but not a lot about them personally, if that makes sense.

I'm thinking something like mugs would be a good gift. You can't really go wrong with a mug (especially since a lot of our conversations are about coffee!), and they have a lot of cute ones out there.

Then I found some really creative mug designs that would be perfect! I mean, usually a mug is a mug, but there are some that go beyond and are really original. If you can't get someone something that you know is really "them," then I think the next best thing is something that's wildly creative and something that they can't help but enjoy.

Tom and Jerry is by far my favorite cartoon ever. I remember when I first started cheering for Jerry mouse when I was a kid. I always wanted him to get the best of that no good Tom. Now I am a parent with children of my own and I still watch Tom and Jerry on my satellite TV from www.tvbydirect.com.

My kids enjoy the cartoon also. My son like Tom. I don't know why, he just always wants to see Tom catch Jerry. My daughter has different favorite than either one of us, she like Spike. Spike is the dog that makes appearances on the show. He usually helps Jerry and chases Tom.

Tom usually is trying to eat Jerry. Jerry in turn is usually trying to steal food from the! fridge. Jerry mouse lives in a hole in the wall and often times is interrupted while he is sleeping by something Tom is doing. If this is the case, Jerry usually tries to go after Tom the cat to make him stop whatever it is he is doing. One episode Tom kept Jerry up with his playing of music while he was trying to get a female cat to be his lady.

Tom and Jerry is a fun cartoon that can be enjoyed by children and parents alike, it is well worth watching.

I found it! I have been looking all over for a site that would compare prices on product and I finally found it! I've been trying to get a site that would give me information and price comparison with an easy-to-use format, and I found ShopWiki. Thank goodness, because I have shopping to do!

Everyone who knows me knows that I have a love/hate relationship with my laptop. Lately it's more hate than love, especially since my browser will freeze with very little provoking, and now the cord hardly charges it anymore. I'm going to have to seriously look into getting a new laptop if I want to use it for any MT jobs in the future, and with this site I'm hoping I can learn enough to make the right pick and to get the best price!

I found a Dell Latitude E4200 that looks really, really nice. I'd love something small, ultralight, and easy to use, especially if I hope to make my new jobs portable!

I was remarking to a friend the other day how much I dislike Ebay now. It isn't like it was in the beginning, with your everyday people selling their things online to make a buck. With all of my sadness over the past week or so, I got to thinking about my college days. I did a lot of partying then, but there were only a few people who I really connected with. Since most of my friends were as lost as I was, it isn't surprising that most of my friends from freshman year didn't make it back for their sophomore year, but what makes me sad is the fact that I lost track of so many of them! I did remain friends with one of them for a while, but time went on and the distance grew...

Anyway, I wonder what she's up to now. I have tried to find her through the usual internet sites like Google and Facebook, but I've had no luck. However, I stumbled upon a new (for me) way to search for her! This site, MyLife, is great! For only $1.99 a month you have access to all sorts of profiles. I entered my friend's name and up popped about 100 matches. Some were obviously not her (she is nowhere near 55 years old), but I have a whole bunch of other profiles to look through. I got super excited becasue I found someone with her exact name (including her middle initial) who lived where she used to, but it wasn't her. Very strange, because she's from a small town in the south part of Massachusetts and I have a hard time believing that someone else has her exact name. But, I saw a picture and it is definately NOT her, LOL!

I'm pretty excited about this because I may actually find her! I'm also glad I joined the site; you never know who might be searching for you! Isn't it worth $1.99 a month to find out?

If I had money I know what I would do with it: I'd buy more hydroponic gardening equipment. In all honesty, I'd love to buy some land and do a whole "farm" of this. It's amazing! I think there would be a profit to it as well, because I know that people want to eat safely/healthy with the rise of cancers and with the use of hormones in our foods but a lot of people don't know if they want to eat organic, local, natural... It's a great topic and I LOVE doing this and learning about it. It would be so easy to write up a business plan and to implement, but it just isn't in the cards for me, obviously.

Anyway, the garden is great. I got rid of the fugus-infected plants and planted the new seeds, so I'm just waiting for them to start budding. I have about 2 new seedlings, so that's exciting! The lettuce is still growing well, and the cucumbers are yielding about 2 a day. The tomatoes are starting to come out, and I think the eggplant and broccoli aren't too far behind.

I love being able to walk outside and pick a salad for dinner every night, LOL!

I've been busy today. So far I've gotten 2 reports for work completed (a big load off of my mind!), ordered the crib parts I need, gotten stuff straightened out in regards to Ian's possible 504 plan, and looked into possibly remortgaging the house.

Not bad for a Tuesday!

Weekend Plans

Sean's going to be racing this weekend so I'm looking for things to do with Ian and Roo for the next 3 days. I think one day we may do the Aquarium (too cold for the zoo), and then I was thinking of possibly going to Orlando. I can't afford to do Disney or anything, but there's a neat event: Otronicon @ Orlando Science Center .

Sure, some people think that Video game tournaments are only for geeks, but I think it would be fun to take the kids. It's only $17 for me and $12 for Ian, so the day would be cheap enough. It runs the 16th-20th so we have enough time to go (there are school trips and group days January 21-23 which would be a neat field trip to take!) There would definitely be enough for Ian and I to do, what with the game tournaments with Rock Band, Wii Fitness, Guitar Hero, and the like. I'm sure we'd both find something to hold our interest!

Oh, and there is going to be a wedding (Haolo Wedding) between a couple that met while gaming. How interesting will that be? I can't even imagine what that's going to be like!

New Jersey Breast Augmentation

I have a good friend from New Jersey (strangely enough she's from the same area my mom grew up in!) and I just spent about 30 minutes catching up with her. We discussed my pregnancy and stuff and I mentioned how Sean and I are in agreement that I can look into a breast lift when I'm finished breastfeeding Bug. I wanted to get one before but knew it would be stupid to do if I planned to breastfeed another child...

Anyway, my friend mentioned New Jersey breast augmentation that she's been looking into herself. I admit I'm jealous because she's about 10 steps ahead of me, but I swear it's something I'm going to do as soon as possible. I know the pros and cons, and I think it's something that will make me feel better about myself. I know my back won't hurt as much, that's for sure!
