With all of my sadness over the past week or so, I got to thinking about my college days. I did a lot of partying then, but there were only a few people who I really connected with. Since most of my friends were as lost as I was, it isn't surprising that most of my friends from freshman year didn't make it back for their sophomore year, but what makes me sad is the fact that I lost track of so many of them! I did remain friends with one of them for a while, but time went on and the distance grew...Anyway, I wonder what she's up to now. I have tried to find her through the usual internet sites like Google and Facebook, but I've had no luck. However, I stumbled upon a new (for me) way to search for her! This site, MyLife, is great! For only $1.99 a month you have access to all sorts of profiles. I entered my friend's name and up popped about 100 matches. Some were obviously not her (she is nowhere near 55 years old), but I have a whole bunch of other profiles to look through. I got super excited becasue I found someone with her exact name (including her middle initial) who lived where she used to, but it wasn't her. Very strange, because she's from a small town in the south part of Massachusetts and I have a hard time believing that someone else has her exact name. But, I saw a picture and it is definately NOT her, LOL!
I'm pretty excited about this because I may actually find her! I'm also glad I joined the site; you never know who might be searching for you! Isn't it worth $1.99 a month to find out?
