I have a batch done! My Rose Petal Soaps are done, and now I can move on to the Autumn Leaves. The Autumn Leaves are a new thing I'm going to try and I hope they work out as well as I think they're going to!

I'm not quite sure how much to charge for these. There are 5-6 Vanilla Lavender Petals a bag... What do you think? Honest opinions, please! Remember: These are one-time use (I got a few more uses out of them, but...), geared toward guest soaps for the guest bathroom.

This evening went well. My voice teacher was impressed; I didn't have the heart to tell him it was because I actually practiced this week. I guess knowing what's coming up made my drive a bit stronger.

I have to make some more soap tomorrow for an order I got, and then on Thursday I'm making a specialized necklace for someone who wants something for their friend who lost their baby this month. Friday I'm going to be meeting Kim in the morning for our usual coffee and bagel, and then I'll be spending ALL FREAKING AFTERNOON on the phone with unemployment... again.

I'm having a good time making the soaps! I got some new ideas, and I pulled some of the old ones out and dusted them off, LOL! I'm excited for the ones tomorrow- I'm dipping silk rose petals. They make great gifts and are fantastic as guest soaps. I hope to have a bunch done for the fair on the fourth!

Here's what I'm trying to do now. This is my first batch so they aren't as perfect as I'd like, but I really like the direction I'm going!

Our friends in Dade City used to own a vending machine business. They loved it, but were forced to put it up for sale not too long ago because they didn’t have the time to devote to it since they both started working 50 hours a week. I considered buying it since it was established already, but I didn’t move fast enough and someone snatched it up. However; now it’s something that I’m toying with. Since I’m not too familiar with the vending industry myself I looked on the web to learn a little bit about what it’s all about.

My interest was piqued by multivend, a company that started in 1990. Multivend, LLC, a United States company, has become a leading bulk candy vending machine manufacturer since that time; in fact, they are the world’s largest bulk vending machine company!

Multivend provides a wonderfully unique opportunity for people (like me!) who want to own their own business and enter the world of entrepreneurs. Financial freedom is so important, and Mulitvend has helped over 9,000 members since 2003 to meet their independent financial goals. These bulk vending machines are a 100% cash business and can provide an 80% profit margin which is amazing! Best yet, as an owner of a business like this, you work from home and set your own hours. Talk about freedom!

Multivend has recently added a new product to their popular Vendstar 3000 machine: The Vendstar EZ-Count® Meter. This unique meter allows vendors to obtain exact collection amounts from every machine by digitally updating the overall quarters accepted (pretty cool!). They’ve also created a 1” wheel that will allow the Vendstar 3000 to dispense one inch gumballs and toy capsules. What a great way to extend product offerings and get a more diverse customer base, all by using the Vendstar 3000 from Multivend!
